Data sheets on each of the 51 species or genera retained (40 in temperate zones and 11 in tropical zones) present a brief description of the principal botanical characteristics, natural areas and forestry (and sometimes fruit) importance, for those with a mixed usage. Details are also given of the genetic entities studied or conserved (population, family, individual) and the type of assessment chosen. Finally, and above all, considerable information is provided which enables access to the data and breeding materials held by different French institutions.
