Quae

Editions Quae is a single publishing house linking four different research organizations: Cemagref, Cirad, Ifremer and Inra.

Its catalogue includes over 1000 works covering science and technology, and also the social sciences, life and Earth sciences, natural landscapes, the environment, agriculture and crop production, forests and silviculture, animal rearing and products, fishing, aquatic and aquacultural resources, food and human nutrition, and society. It publishes books as well as e-books, CD-ROMs and DVDs.

Editions Quae hopes to become a benchmark for scientific publishing, responding to the expectations and concerns of a demanding and attentive readership keen to gain access to reliable, quality scientific information. To this end, its publishing team is working with authors who are among the foremost specialists in each field.

Editorial policy

Editions Quae's editorial policy centres on three main fields: natural environments, resources and the environment.

New publications by the each of the four organizations will be released in joint collections intended to foster:
- exchanges between scientists
- transmission of know-how and skills
- decision support and public debate
- dissemination of knowledge.
The authors are recognized specialists in their respective fields, from France and around the world.

Sales/Distribution

Editions Quae runs its own mail order operations and sales and distribution to booksellers in France. To distribute its products more efficiently worldwide, Éditions Quae has a network of local partners, distributors and booksellers.
