La microfinance, par sa proximité avec le monde rural et ses innovations institutionnelles, ouvre des perspectives. Un programme de recherche sur ce thème a été mené par le Cirad et le réseau Cerise. Un séminaire de clôture a permis d'ouvrir un espace d'échanges entre les différents acteurs. Ce cédérom présente les résultats du programme de recherche et les actes du séminaire.</P> <P>As economies in the South become increasingly liberalized, the development of family farms is being hindered by a lack of access to funding. Through its close contacts with the rural world and the institutional innovations it brings, microfinance is a possible solution. Cirad and the Cerise network have completed a research programme on this topic. The programme's closing seminar led to the creation of a forum for exchanges between the different stakeholders.
