Sami Bouarfa

Sami Bouarfa is an agronomist and water science researcher at INRAE. His work focuses on irrigation performance, particularly with regard to reconciling the challenges of agricultural production and environmental conservation. He has also contributed to the development of participatory approaches that take into account the constraints and perspectives of different stakeholders in territorial water management. He has conducted this interdisciplinary research in France and in the southern Mediterranean region, specifically in the three Maghreb countries.
