Dr Mark Paine is Principal Research Fellow and Associate Professor of Extension Research at the University of Melbourne. His research work has included studies of farmer decision making and the use of information technology; evaluation of consultancy services to improve relationships between consultants and their clients; information flows between processing companies and their farmer suppliers; technology and innovation studies that span dairy, livestock and horticultural sectors in Australia and New Zealand.
