Rudy Fourmy has been fascinated by wildlife, and adders in particular, from an early age. After studying biotechnology and molecular biology, he traveled the Mediterranean area in search of his favorite animals. In 2009, he set up Alphabiotoxine Laboratory, a centre specializing in the breeding, study of venomous animals, venom production and research into their biological activity.
