How to download an eBook?

A few minutes after the purchase, the client will receive an email with a single use link to download the file. This URL has a limited lifespan of 2 days. Beyond this time period, or if the first download did not work, the client can sign up to its account and go to "My media center" to access to the digital items previously bought. the customer can request the sending of a new URL by signing up, then clicking on the "My Account" section and the "My media center" which lists the books purchased on the site. For each title purchased, clicking on “Download” will send a new message with a new download link.

How to read your ebook?

The files are offered in one or more formats (PDF, ePub, audiobooks) and each of these formats has specific navigation features (hypertext, zoom capabilities, text search, personal annotations, etc.). They can be read by different types of terminals (laptop, personal assistant, smartphones, electronic readers, etc.) either natively or after installing an application specific to this format and are not intended to be printed.

A few important notes

  • Some email readers like Outlook tend to truncate the Internet links present in emails. In this case, copy and paste the full URL directly into your browser's address bar.
  • The download time varies depending on the size of the file (indicated at the time of download) and the speed of your Internet connection.
  • It is preferable to save the file directly to the hard disk when it is downloaded, and to open it in a second time (internet browsers can be configured to offer the choice; it is also possible to do so by clicking on the "Download..." button with the right mouse button and choosing "Save link target as..."). If the file opens directly in the internet browser, it is recommended to first save it to its hard drive in a safe place.
  • Some books can be downloaded for free. To download them, simply follow the standard ordering process. You you will not be asked to pay for these books.
