Didier Le Thiec is a research director at INRAE within the Tree Physiology in Response to the Environment (PHARE) team of the SILVA Joint Reseatch Unit (INRAE- Lorraine University -AgroParisTech). To better understand how forest ecosystems function and, ultimately, to ensure their sustainability, he studies the responses of various forest species to climate change and analyzes their mechanisms of adaptation, focusing in particular on the inter- and intraspecific plasticity of functional traits related to resource acquisition (water, carbon, etc.).
