Summary

In Réunion, using the organic matter generated by animal production to fertilize crops would help reduce soil fertility losses and control the risk of pollution. This means designing new management strategies that work on two levels: individual and collective. Models are being developed and combined to represent and simulate such strategies, with a view to helping farmers, technicians and agricultural policy makers make the right decisions.
