Pastoral Trail

The layout of this trail in a pastoral environment (Prapic, Hautes-Alpes) is based on the observation of the landscape and is part of a pluridisciplinary approach. Three viewpoints converge to provide the keys to understanding pastoral activities in a mountain environment: those of the agropastoralist, particularly focused on the activities of shepherds and breeders; those of the botanist with particular emphasis on the diversity of plants and their ability to integrate all of the ecological parameters; and, those of the geologist who studies rocks and the dynamics of landforms. Readership: researchers, teachers, professionals and, more generally, all those interested in the mountain environment and sustainable development.
