André Gallais

André Gallais, Honorary Professor at AgroParisTech and member of the French Academy of Agriculture, is a specialist in quantitative genetics and plant breeding methods. He taught these subjects at AgroParisTech from 1982 to 2005, and was in charge of maize genetics and breeding programs at the Moulon Plant Genetics Station (INRAE-Université Paris Sud-CNRS-AgroParisTech), which he directed from 1982 to 1998.
