Summary

This book is meant for all sea fishermen, whether professionals or amateurs, who use angling techniques such as pole and line, long-line, trolling line, etc. The first chapter gives a chronological description of how the various techniques developed. The descriptive data sheets in the second chapter describe the large range of fishing devices designated as lines, the corresponding tackle and how to use them. Lastly, a glossary defines the terms used for each type of fishing technique.
