Summary

The book emphasises the evolution of communication systems and the construction-deconstruction phenomena. It is also a summary of cultural and technical characteristics that have gradually made man the author of his own evolution towards another species, a post-human, by altering the ages-old natural rules of speciation. It is shown how evolution has produced a human brain capable of an increasing number of technological innovations whereby man can control reproduction, is capable of modifying the genomes, of increasing his understanding of how the brain functions, of acting on ageing and also of "anthropising" nature by altering it.
