Summary

The volatilisation of ammonia nitrogen after slurry application on farmland leads to a decrease in its fertilisation value and an increase in the pollutant load in the air. Two studies, one conducted in the field and the other in the laboratory, reveal the importance of ammonia emissions and the factors that influence this process.
