Summary

This book opens paths to a better understanding of the conditions under which interdisciplinary research on the environment (climate, biodiversity, energy, pollution, etc.) can succeed. It confirms that, in interdisciplinary projects, individual strategies depend less on the discipline of the scientist than on his or her way of being and acting in a specific context, in other words his or her “attitude”. An interdisciplinary project cannot succeed unless the attitudes of those involved are compatible and complementary.
